Appreciate the work. There's a desire to spread awareness but there is a place. There is a demand for trigger warnings in today's society and that stems from a desire to avoid topics. Dead bodies in particular shouldn't need a trigger warnings because it's clearly a trigger. That is the goal of posting it. Just because you think the message is important doesn't give you any further rights.

Not all directors come across that way but signalling them as a visionary suggests some slight bias.

I also don't really understand what your trying to say above, isolating "preference" and "issues" doesn't really make sense since issues form from preference and art is not objective.

There are some real complaints to be had. I think not liking the more realistic/explicit presentation of violence is fair. I think the visceral behaviour of games does make it a different experience to the same violence you'd see in a movie.

I also think disliking Neil Druckmann as a person is valid, he has some quotes that seem snobby.

Not enjoying cinematics games in general could also be an avenue for complaints but I think none of these are explicit complaints about tLoU2

No, there are asshole in all types of games including Single player. Even if Souls has multiplayer, I've seen toxic communities in even games like Breath of the Wild

People constantly telling me i was so relaxed growing up. No shit, I avoid stressers like the plague, to the point my brain threw out my emotions in high school. Everything only started resurfacing when I became an adult and I couldn't avoid stressful stuff like being healthy and having to work and clean up after myself

A loud minority of Texans call for Independence, which is not really possible as far as I know

I'm a history illiterate so maybe I'm wrong but I'm sure lots of countries thought that before an insurrection. Not that I think Texas would rebel but literally why couldn't they?

I can fix them vs. oh no, I'm going to be corrupted

I left some fried rice to heat up before I went out to go shopping. I ate the rice and now I don't want to go shopping.

A Massively multiplayer online role playing game does not mean the game is a game as a service. It's a route of finance just like some shooting games are and some aren't.

The issue was not that Superheroes are milked. It's the gameplay isn't fun and no one wants GaaS.

No experience with games? Has she watched you play games, did she have favourites from those? Are there certain IPs she likes that would help?

My sister is now a casual gamer. The games that got her into it are Kingdom Hearts just via Disney branding and Uncharted (which she liked watching people play due to the Nathan Drake) which slid her to her favourite series Tomb Raider.

I recommend going that route instead of trying to find some weird fit since if she likes Harry Potter for example one of the best solutions regardless of the time you put in will be Hogwarts Legacy.

It's bizarre that Banjo Tooie's world design is just the open world design that most people praise nowaday but most open world games nowadays are just as empty, maybe moreso. The only difference is detail.
