Obviously - I guess I'm more surprised at The Register in that case. They're a very savvy industry magazine. Presumably they get a hefty wad.

Devolver have done some terrific games going way back - I think the first time I played one of their games was the first Reigns for mobile and that was what, 2016?
Their name is a good indicator of quality so good for them thinking rationally about what they have to offer to players and not just taking the money
Thanks for this - this is something that has passed me by. So essentially plagarising another website's content for traffic plus the usual Google shenanigans? Nice
Thanks for the info - was not aware of this before. Yet more wonderful business practices from the world of big tech...
By endorsing the list of demands, you can add your voice to the growing coalition that advocates for:
The immediate halting of arms shipments to Ukraine.
An end to the sanctions on Russia, as well as the cessation of the Russophobic campaign.
The invalidation of the statement condemning Russia as a terrorist state.
An armistice between the belligerent forces, allowing for peaceful negotiations.
The establishment of a truly neutral and democratic Ukraine.
The cessation of the arms race and the dissolution of NATO.
Aha, the tried and tested policy of Appeasement that worked so well at achieving peace in our time for Chamberlain!
Sorry for that, but I don't actually understand what you mean...
EDIT OK I've googled it and it seems to be a page that is sponsored by Google but I use Firefox and it worked fine with that - so is the problem that it doesn't work with certain browsers?
I don't know... one thing I love is they zig zag between old school boomer humour, absurd Pythonesque humour, just plain weird scenarios and really quite dark things like this
Like there's one where there's 3 men and a dog on a life raft who have drawn straws to see who they're going to eat because they've run out of rations, and the guy's upset because he lost to the dog. I love the fact this guy was getting cannibalism cartoons into daily newspapers!
I've only slipped over in my current pair once in 4 years or so - but I'm in the UK so winter boots for me are more about warmth and rain resistance than snow!
I've always had Doc Martens boots for casual wear in the winter. They're really comfortable as long as you break them in by wearing them around the house for half an hour a day for a week or two before going outdoors with them.
Getting cushioned insoles might help?
I maybe have to login again once a week or so, presumably because something's been changed on the backend. Using Firefox here. I log on multiple times daily on my phone.

I mean I do think that whatever encourages people to read is great, but I know I'm getting old when I read in the article like this:
And just think "wtf?"
