Because it's a pile of fucking shit.

Who wants to spend over 3k on a headset you can't even game with? Let alone has hardly any app support on launch.

“Right you are, Phil. I too agree it’s incredibly important we make the age of consent 16 in America.”

Many of the promised features still have yet to be implemented, and the physics of the game are still janky as fuck.

Cyberpunk doesn’t get a pass just because half of the list has finally been implemented and the game has been polished…..three fucking years later.

This is probably my favorite explanation for it.

It tries to be emotional, at least the main story. But it fucking fails miserably. I think the only part that actually got me feeling dread or interest was going to visit NASA on Earth. That shit was amazing it pisses me off we only spend ONE FUCKING MISSION on that planet and never go back for anything else.

This is why I can still play Fallout 4 heavily modded and have a lot of fun. Because the core gameplay is really good. It just needed more quest variety and RPG elements.

Starfield is wrong on a fundamental level. Exploration is a HUGE problem in Starfield and frankly with how they implemented it there’s not much you can do to fix it. However, land rovers would be a great step.

Given that they’ve recently tried to bring back paid mods, I wouldn’t be surprised. I booted up Skyrim last night to see the new store and my god. They REALLY try to push credits on you.

Tbf I believe they did make it an option in settings to disable holding E and just making it a press. If I remember correctly. I played about 6 months ago.

It wasn’t really a hack though so much as it manipulated the way it identifies itself to Apples servers. Apple obviously changed something there in retaliation so it’s not working now, but depending on the severity of the change they could get around this.

Honestly though it won’t last long. Eric has a history of being overly ambitious and it’s why Pebble failed.

Maybe stop releasing a new fucking game every god damn year

For me, they STILL haven’t fixed the most important issue with No Mans Sky, which is actually occupying the planets with interesting POIs instead of copy and pasting the same damn thing or just having nothing at all. Hence why I get so fucking bored 15 hours in. Plus the lack of any biomes, just a single biome across every freaking planet with the same fauna and flora so you know exactly what to expect.

So I’m curious to see how they tackle those issues beforehand. Regardless, PR has never been their strongsuit so I’ll be sticking far away from them for the time being. We’ll see how this goes.

I think people need a refresher course of the last 5 years or so. Because here's the deal.

About 2017 to 2020, maybe 2021, the internet was a huge fucking fan of Elon. Including me. I LOVED Elon. Seemed like such a down to earth guy who genuinely wanted to help the human race and was super ambitious. Even if he was flawed. From what I remember, the general consensus was you either liked him, or you felt indifferent and just didn't really care.

NOW that headspace has changed. Either you fucking hate him, or you do like him and get destroyed. Now, it took me about a year before I started to really dislike him the way the internet does. Because I felt like at the time the internet was doing what it always does. Blows shit outta proportion. That was, until I started seeing things change. Because starting about 2-3 years ago, there has been a massive ego fluctuation in Elon. His Twitter is not the same as it was back in 2019 for example. He was actually fairly level headed and would post the occasional meme. But it was always something amazing to do with Space X or Tesla. Okay, no harm there. NOW it's full of nonsensical retarded tweets, dumbass memes left and right, tweets pretty much shitting on his own users...It's a toxic fucking cesspool there. I mean this guy is at a point where he thinks rebranding a social media site that has been widely known to the public with one name, and one name only for YEARS, is a good idea. Let alone to rebrand it to a single fucking letter. Because why not? Kill your user base apparently.

What the hell happened to him? I understand why people dislike him now. As do I. But dude. How can someone fall from greatness like that? Being seen as the next Steve Jobs, flaws and all. To just a shadowy figure of himself? What made him go fucking insane and gain that huge ego?

To the people that would comment, "Well he's always been like that he just shows it now", I don't believe it. When you have such massive egotistical and narcissistic traits, you could give two shits about showing it. He would've done so his whole career if he was like this. I'm not saying he NEVER had an ego, but it wasn't anywhere fucking near the levels of where it is now.

"We were on the verge of greatness, we were THIS close!"

One thing I've always wanted to do is grow my hair out down to my neck. I'm also aware that for people with thick hair, it requires a lot of patience. I personally have incredibly thick hair and many hair stylists have mentioned this to me.

The problem is, after about 6 months my hair will enter this "middle ground" stage where it looks incredibly poofy and hard to manage. Like, instead of growing DOWN, it just seems to try to grow up. At the same time, my hair growth also slows down. This creates insecurity and makes me just cut it off. I don't want to do that anymore.

I know it's possible for people to grow long hair. Even with thick hair. Is there anything I can do to promote downward hair growth, or anything I can do to manage it during this awkward phase? I'm not there yet, but I suspect I will be in another month or two. Thanks!

Sup guys, veteran Reddit user here. I deleted my account on the day of the blackout and I am not going back unless they change the API guidelines.

So far this place seems pretty awesome I gotta say. I love the federated concept now that I understand it. Really cool stuff!
