Also, a presentation I saw by Saul Griffith for Australia, gives an idea where the focus needs to be

With a small splittie and self-done solar guard, you will deal with 80% of your issues. Ensure you use curtains as well, close them in the morning and I will be surprised if you need anything extra. 2.5kw is less than 30 cents an hour to run, really for 100 days a year at 10 hours is less than $300

Christ sakes, I must be a boomer. I've survived without international students bringing me food, and still will. I honestly don't understand why anyone needs these services unless they are on the piss.

Honestly wouldn't mind a few gigawatt of these as baseload insurance and the rest renewable for the few days a year the renewable grid might struggle to net zero. So much better from a pollution and radiation exposure standpoint than coal or on-demand gas turbines

Each sub has a subscription counter. We need a permanent under construction community

On the bright side they didn't make any boomers.

Slightly better healthcare and job security. Don't go to Australia. It's horrible and full of homeless drop bears.

Plenty of examples of improper wash water management causing salmonella, lysteria or e coli, especially in "ready to eat" leafy greens. They literally grow in bacteria and fungi contaminated media, because it's awesome for them. Your veggies will absolutely be contaminated and that is why proper washing and cooking is necessary
