I'm not sure if this answers your question but this is what was explained to me when I worked in retail pharmacy.

Patient has opioid addiction from being on painkillers too long/too high a dose/abusing script. The patient has multiple doctors and specialists and requests painkillers from as many as they can get.

Doctors then become wise to the situation. Set the patient up on a "pain plan." Now the patient can only fill opioid scripts from one doctor at one pharmacy.

I have been working toward a permaculture garden and landscaping with native species. Mostly consisting of small slow changes to increase insect habitats and food sources for local fauna. A local nature conservation program nearby sells permaculture plant sets to encourage the use of non-invasive species. I think the idea is gaining awareness. I agree with this post except for the succulent bit. Cheap LED lights can provide enough light to grow and prop succulents. They are hardy and withstand a fair amount of neglect. I live in zone 4-5. I setup my succulent collection in the garage over winter with 12/12 light. It was cold enough some froze completely and had bits die off. If the picture posts you can see they survived all that torture.

There was a relatively recent kickstarter for a synthesizer that converts electricity from plants into music. I'm not advertising for them but it does fit the parameters of your search of technology and music.

There is a "Tell me what you like/you might like" suggestion software called Gnod. Free to use browser map of music.

Cymatics is the art created by visualizing the vibrations of music.
