I think people tend to choose the more unique/recognizable name to call candidates by. For example, we also call Bernie Sanders by his first name more often than his last. “Harris” is a more common name than “Kamala”. “Clinton” could be confused for Bill, but “Hillary” isn’t going to be mistaken. I don’t think it has anything to do with the candidate’s gender.

I, too, think that the best way to get people on my side is to burn their homes and livelihoods down. /s

As long as they don’t give the milk to their innocent children either…

As a family that tries to cook as many of our meals as possible and generally visits the store once a week, it can be a big endeavor. To make balanced, healthy meals for the whole week requires a large variety of ingredients. This makes meal planning before the trip and having a list necessary, and then there’s a lot of searching for things that may not always be in stock.

Additionally, we often restock household necessities and toiletries on this trip as well, which requires more planning and a longer list. Add all this together with carrying all the bags, putting things away, etc, and it can be pretty exhausting.

I see, thank you kindly for your explanation. I knew he’s still the head of the Republican Party but I didn’t expect him to still be able to influence foreign relations to such a large extent. That’s just wild to me.

I’m a bit out of the loop on this - how the heck did a guy who isn’t even in office any more undo the diplomatic progress of the President? Does he actually still have any sway with foreign leaders?

I speak some Japanese, and I read it as “Why does nobody remember my world/Why doesn’t anybody remember my world?”

It’s definitely saying the world is what was forgotten.

I’m just about to reach a month too. Joined as soon as I heard Reddit was killing Apollo, the main way I used Reddit.

It makes so little sense to me. They could have charged a reasonable amount and made some money off of the apps, but instead, they chose to kill them and lose their users. Some might migrate to the official app, but this uproar may have caused even more to leave the platform entirely.
