The advertising is a massive one. If you were trying to recover from a gambling addiction, you wouldn’t be able to watch any sport on TV. Every advert, especially late at night, is about betting.

Yeah I’m sure $2,000 is the magic number

Yeah that’s the issue I have with it. Also that it’s so many satellites for a single private company. It would be even worse if Amazon or someone tries to compete. Ideally itwould be open like GPS.

I can hate Elon and also think space x are doing cool stuff (except the issues with the starlink constellation). They are beating Boeing with the crewed missions to ISS and the booster catch today was incredible. Just the guy at the very top is an arsehole.

Ah but the capitalist has to sacrifice the short term and play the long game of not over harvesting. And nothing matters more to a capitalist than short term profit

Do you think they’ll accept the old “my dog ate my homework” trick

I live in the Uk and fancied a holiday just going around Great Britain for a week by train and saw this was an option.

Just wondering if anyone has used it and was it worth the price vs booking each trip in advance.

Hate how the BBC always use passive voice for car crashes. No mention that a driver is at fault.

The Conservatives in Wales lose their last ditch attempt to stop the speed limit change from 30mph to 20mph. The change will be coming into force on the 17th September
