I made the mistake of picking up these books on a busy work week. Needless to say, I did not get much sleep between working and finishing four books in as many days.

Not surprised, still disappointed. Will discuss with other mods the idea of nuking our community as a "fuck you" to Reddit.

I mean, I kind of appreciate the fact that the mods decided to do this, because they know very well how this'll turn out. Letting such a rancid community out of leash while many of the wholesome communities are on a break is going to be a shitshow worth remembering, and just the kinda stuff that's going to drop Reddit stock in the eyes of advertisers.

With corporate, appealing to morals or ethical conduct is usually pointless. Hitting their potential evaluation though...

I may myself go back to Reddit. My girlfriend loves the cat pictures I aend her from there. I'll just stop moderating and creating content, only accessing the site on Desktop with adblocker. I ain't giving a single fucking cent to them, even indirectly, if I can avoid it.
