it is a good thing there is no option for political violence on this helpful chart about the distribution of political violence

you wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong ideas about the direction political violence has to flow

No problem! Seems to be generational knowledge, came out around when I was born but I only found out about it this year.

Going to argue for Donkey Kong GB instead of NES, the GameBoy version has a whole campaign compared to the arcade and NES

otherwise this is hard to argue with, great list

gang have we considered that maybe it's like, bad to have a psychopathic transcontinental slave empire on earth

zoinks

is it bot behavior to trash the US Justice System when it slow walks the slave empire into an authoritarian dictatorship

Credibility and Factual Reporting are soooooo high right now

Gang I am having trouble deciding which version of the Mueller Report, often referred to as our generation's Magna Carta, I should get to commemorate three years since Trump's imprisonment.

Could you imagine how screwed the USA would have been if it turned out that all US Law and Politics were just a fake TV show for marks and rubes? Like what if the entire political and news industry just said whatever they thought would keep people quiet in the mean time while capitalist looters stole everything?

If Robert Mueller hadn't finally ended his career-long investigative losing streak, the USA might be setting itself up for a violent collapse. Bless you, Robert Mueller.

This "article" is just a commercial for some shitty show called "The Franchise"

the "controversy" is how actors dope to get fit for action roles

that one is great, i just used that a few weeks ago for my RA run through that game

Some of the best guides for retro games out there are super obscure, hosted independently, or only still exist on the internet archive. I know a couple, but maybe we could make a big list.

The Princeton Guy's Let Us Cling Together: Tactics Ogre: Tactics Ogre comprehensive guide site. This is the most complete guide to the original Tactics Ogre in English that I know of. New remasters of the game have made this more obscure even within the SRPG community.

Beat'em Up Dissection: This web series is one of the best documentations/ genre spanning strategy guides ever assembled. There's knowledge here that you only see replicated on Games Done Quick and other niche communities. Look at those VIEWS. I am going to download the series just so I know there's a copy out there.

I'll add more when I think of them AND YOU SHOULD TO IF YOU KNOW ANY

so funny when the slave colonies talk about "legality" and "eligibility"

hey how many copies of The Mueller Report do you guys use to prop up your bedframes

do you guys think it was bad to threaten mike pence or are you still confused about the definition of "hanging chads"

🤡 if I don't get it right off the 'what?

I talk so much trash on here about how lemmings can't game and not only do they never step, they post about how AI is the future.

If ML is the future then why don't you use it to beat Castlevania 3?

Listen Batman if you want to prove me wrong, you have to verses me

but you won't batman and that's why harvey-

user was violently assaulted from the shadows before completing this post

Please mention your own favorite examples. The most notable difference between bosses IRL vs in games is that in games you generally get to beat the absolute tar out of them. No particular order.

T. Rex, Jurassic Park, Nintendo Entertainment System

There are lots of T. Rex in games, but this one eats children.

Gilgamesh, Final Fantasy V, SNES & various ports

Personally love womping on a bootlicker, and G here is a best in show of the breed.

Super Drunk, Bubble Bobble, Arcade & NES

This guy is kind of making fun of the drunks at bars where this game debuted, which is kind of mean, but as a character he is terrible and I relish in his destruction.

Deerhaunter, Timesplitters Future Perfect, Playstation 2 & Game Cube & Xbox

Because he is also playable, "The Moose is Loose" became a common call on game nights in the mid 00s (especially in Ohio).

Decoy Octopus, Metal Gear Solid, Playstation & PC

Controversial because he cannot be beaten without a multi-tap and "foreknowledge" aka you have to actually read the manual where it suggests you might need to read some Cold War history, plug in a multitap and do CQC on him during a cutscene.

Lemmings; Feel free to prove me wrong, but you will not. There are no pro gamers on Lemmy, as I demonstrated here.

If you need any assistance setting up Retroachievements on your machine, please see here.

inb4 "I beat Castlevania earlier"; No you did not. inb4 "Stop yelling at us for being bad at games"; No only god forgives, not Dracula

I'm just wondering about the internal components on mall cop robots like the Knightscope K5. It must be using a GPU and some pretty nice cameras, right? These are common models found in the United States. I have worked closely with knockoff BD dogs, I'm not talking about those, I'm talking about the Dalek looking things.
