There were a few people at work today who drove past this. One woman was crying when she got to work as she thought it was real. Man had suspended himself from the bridge to look like he hanged himself. Moving to make it look like he wasn't dead yet. All this to raise awareness about suicide prevention.
How many children in cars saw this I wonder....

Suicide is a serious problem in NZ, but, there are more child friendly ways to raise awareness.

Not all cats have a problem with flaps.

I have two cats they have zero problems with the flaps. They sometimes use the flap as a short cut to sneak up on the other one when playing.

I have those electronic ones you register with their microchip so only they can use the flaps.

But, I still get gifts like mice, skinks, praying mantis, cicadas, leaves, etc. The flaps don't stop gifts.

Cyanoacrylate is a moisture cure adhesive. You have lots of moisture in your skin which helps it cure.
Cyanoacrylate is used in medical glue because it bonds so well with skin. Depending on the cut/injury, the medic may apply glue instead of stitches.

It's doing its job. Don't use acetone, it's bad for you.

I scrape it off with a Stanley knife blade.

With the state of the world economy, I may have to!

I'm a male prostitute by the way.

Rode my bike, machined a widget on my lathe and mill, drank all the beers.

In that order.

Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So, how’s it going?

Funny

Like the title says. So annoying.

Hello peeps. I wear specs and usually update my prescription every 2 years. This means I have quite a few sets of quality spectacles laying around in the desk drawer that I no longer use. This got me thinking: there must be heaps of people who can't afford specs who could benefit from some free ones. Where can I donate these specs? It must be to some organisation that gives them out for free. People must NOT have to pay for them! I'm in Auckland.

Any ideas welcomed, thanks.
