Wasnt really trying to make a point here because as I said - you do you/do what works for you but

https://www.nhs.uk/contraception/choosing-contraception/how-well-it-works-at-preventing-pregnancy/

Its like an actual statistic - not "From what I heard"

"If wrongly used"

Think what they are trying to say is why making a serious commitment like this when you can use readily available over the counter solutions like condoms.

Which I agree with. But I don't condemn anyone here - you do you 😃

I was gonna say the contrast between these two make it really stand out! Love it!

It should be a standard everywhere people go tbh. Basic human right

Went to see it today, took it for a spin around the block and honestly felt amazing. Tip top shape, I tried that 9krpm, only got up to 6krpm but nothing rattled or made noises. The silencer had a little bit of corrosion, but at 1997 old bike, to be expected I guess. I looked everywhere I could, top bottom, and couldn't find any more corrosion if I wanted to. Pegs in perfect shape. Forks showing no rust at all, no leaks as well.

The guy told he used ACF annualy, even given the fact that the bike was kept in a dry garage, rarely driven and never in rain.

Picking it up this Tuesday!

Thanks buddy

What you say makes perfect sense. I took a 600 for a test ride today and it really felt like plenty of power.

I'm really tempted to go see this one today: https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/honda-cbr-600-f3/1476139290

It's carburator rather than fuel injector. Should that be a concern? What would look at while viewing the bike?

What about this one? 1998 CB500S https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/honda-cb500s/1466287814

Listing description: Honda CB500s completely rebuilt by a time served motorcycle mechanic of 35 years. Runs beautifully starts first time every time. Has a few upgrades, forks have pre load adjusters and 15w oil. Fender extended on the front mudguard. Nissin front brake caliper and master cylinder from a later model, straight fit. Carbs were cleaned and an in-line fuel filter fitted. Long mot.

How is it possible that in 2008 it was 93k miles, and in 2023 5k miles

Still live. Might showing as gone because you are looking from abroad. Ill try and download the pictures and description when im home. What should I look at when viewing the bike?

When I was looking to replace my google tools, I couldn't find an easy to to alternative Google Photos. Things that were suggested like immich or Synology or ente required some level of technical know how or dedicated hardware. I ended up buying a Synology drive but I have issues with loading images/videos (it's extremely slow).

Today I stumbled upon https://stingle.org/

I haven't used it yet, but it looks like it might be a good option for anyone wanting to degooglify, but without all the extra fuffing around.

It also has a F-Droid distro!

Pricing starts at 1gb for free or 100gb for three bucks

If anyone get's a chance, let me know if it's really that good.

Last 11hrs as of now!

Is anybody interested in making something on this canvas thing?

Never participated in r/places, figured I might give it a go

Hi all,

I want to setup a router in my network that would cover my whole household under VPN. I bought a DSL-AC88U but I think it might be too outdated for this purpose (I've seen a lot of posts online with people having trouble setting it up after 2021) so I think I will be returning it.

I manged to get it for $70 on an auction, and that's a rough ballpark of my budget on it atm. Maybe stretching it to $100 (I don't mind buying used).

Is there a router you could recommend? Thanks

Only writing here because it seems to be GrapheneOS related, not app specifically, and I'm not award of other community dealing with this software.

I currently have OpenBoard with two languages installed- English and my native. My issue happens no matter if I have open board or GrapheneOS stock keyboard setup.

When I'm trying to erase the first two letters of a word I'm currently working on, it will then highlight the whole word + the space before it. Any change I will make from now on, will delete that space and will merge these two words together. It only happens if I already finished working on this word and I'm going back to fix this.

Video attached below to maybe better explain the issue. Any help greatly appreciated

Hi all,

I'm trying to make aware people of the recent Google movements to close gate the internet to their services and suggest to folks to move to Firefox.

One of my colleagues encouters this problem though:

and it doesn't happen in Chrome. Any ideas? It seems that it mostly happens when the font used on a page is sans-serif

I recently acquired a second hand DS216j with 6TB (SHR1 so only 3TB is usable). I moved all my Google Photos images and videos onto it, but now when I access it through QuickConnect it loads them really slow, the videos are constantly buffering and when they load they have a messed up framerate (really jittery). I have a 500 fibre connection and the station is connected to the router through an ethernet cable. Any idea how I could possibly fix this? Thanks
