I do the same with the small bags so I can toss them inside the filament bags when I store them but I need some extra for the AMS to keep the filament dry inside while they're waiting to be used there. Specially the changing color one as it's reusable (buy once, use for years)

Thank you. I got one of those already but the one I wanted is the colour changing one so I could reuse it. I found it on Amazon and they'll ship it to Norway :). Thank you anyway

thank you! I compared prices between Amazon and Aliexpress and it was actually cheaper on Amazon, so I went for 2kg of the orange changing color one (I'll use it also around the house)

Yeah, I got one of those, but I was looking for the reusable ones that change color from orange to green. Thank you anyway

Thanks, I'll take a look at it

Hi everybody? I live in Norway and I find it really difficult to buy color changing silica gel balls here. I want to use it to keep and control better my filament rolls while they are stored and also to the AMS on my Bambu X1C. The only alternative I found is on Aliexpress, just a 500gr bottle. I was wondering if anybody else out there has any better alternative.

Yes, very much. It had even a few more really useful tricks like press and hold on a comment and a menu would pop up to let you do different actions, like reply, quote, select text, save the comment or even translate it using google translate. It was really awesome, clean and intuitive.

A bit nerve racking the first days trying out the first post in Lemmy and missing a good app for mobile (being used to Apollo set the bar quite high) and then I discovered wefwef.app and now I feel like home again (don’t be afraid of the fact that it’s a web app, it’s really well done and fast and smooth, and looks like Apollo).

So true! I’ve not printed yet a single benchie or any other calibration test on it, while on my previous printer (Artillery X2) I wasted a lot of time and filament trying to fix layers banding and flow rates and even choosing the right slicer. I was also always concerned to start a new big print not knowing if it would succeed or fail. Those times are gone now

I recommend you to give it a try anyway. Once you install the icon on your desktop, it loads like a native app and works really smooth. I’m really loving it and helps a lot with the grief of losing Apollo.

I’m trying it now too, thanks for the comment, but if you’re an ex-Apollo like me, I highly recommend giving a try to Wefwef.app. It’s a web app but you can install it on your screen and looks almost identical to Apollo and feels very much like home. I discovered it today thanks to another comment and I can’t believe this exists.

OMG! I did it right now out of curiosity and a bit cautious and it’s a web app that looks and behaves like Apollo!! What’s this magic?? It works incredibly well! Thank you!

Karma and votes should stay but be hidden to other users. Karma is a good way to detect bots and trolls, but just admins and moderators should see it to act on them if needed. And up/down votes should be hidden too because of the hive mind phenomenon that it produces (Experienced on Reddit): often, the funny or sassy or apparently clever comment gets upvoted and sometimes, the comment with knowledge about the post gets downvoted because the first joke was funny. Many people may not have an opinion about the issue but upvote the funny guy and downvotes the real answer just following the hive. Hiding it, each person reading must decide by themselves if they upvote or downvote a comment.

Prizes and awards could maybe stay, not sure
