Jinkies, a whole Sunday without a word in the daily thread??

I spent the day watching people on our security cameras steal stuff from the place next door, relaying the information to the building owner.

Among other things, they literally stole a kitchen sink. And some pot plants. And a laundry basket, and half a suitcase.

I just.... what? I can't even be mad, it's so stupid.

A kitchen sink? Are they trying to steal stuff to build a house?

That is all really unfortunate.

The house is due to be demolished so it's vacant and surrounded by temporary fencing, but the stuff they're taking still isn't theirs to take. The owner of the place probably still needs things like a kitchen sink, and even if it is "scrap" it's still the owners scrap to get the money for.

It's just the ludicrousness of it... Random people just turning up and treating the place like they're shopping ALDI special buys. Four separate visitors, all taking their bootload / uteload of scrap metal and assorted household rubbish.

Is there Facebook / Telegram groups for crackies showing "places what you can thieve from" or something? 🫤
