President Volodymyr Zelensky said he doesn't believe Russia will stop its aggression against Ukraine, even after the current invasion is driven out of Ukraine. "The victory of Ukraine can and must be such that any attempts by the enemy to return would not go beyond the sick fantasy of those lunatics who have such plans," he said.

Nato membership ought to help with that.

This is where the demilitarized zone comes in.

Why would they want a demilitarized zone? That’s taking valuable land out of play just so that a violent, barbaric and frankly culturally repugnant nation (Russia) still wins even by no one winning. Put a line in the sand (ground), have Ukraine join NATO and use the land as normal. If Russia tries anything again then the US and it’s allies can finally step in and hopefully put an end to that barbarian encampment we call Russia.

I don’t know if you’re Ukrainian, or if you have ever been around Russians, but in a fight, as long as we both lose Russians see it as a win. Doesn't matter the cost, doesn’t matter the actual result.
