Anyone know why my dualsense controller won't show up in Bluetooth discovery? Have confirmed it shows up and pairs on my phone and used to show up on my windows machine before I switched

  • It is only on NixOS this seems to happen, both my laptop and PC do this.

  • Yes I have put it into pairing mode, it shows up in discovery on my phone

  • The controller works perfectly when wired

  • Every other Bluetooth device works with no issues

I feel like I'm missing a driver or something but no idea what, can anyone help?

I use PopOS normally and the dual sense controllers are the ones that work the easiest for me.

Yeah, definitely works on other distros it's NixOS specific

Did you ever get this working? I set up 23.05 recently on one of my machines, and my Dualsense controllers worked fine though the KDE bluetooth app once I enabled bluetooth in configuration.nix.

I think I did, but I since got a new controller anyway so can't be sure. I switched to the latest kernel and it worked for the new one
