No, apparently not.
It is at sunset but I think the term is due to them appearing opposite of the sun. This pic was taken facing East with the sun setting in the West.
Crepuscular rays are a thing too but appear in the same direction as the sun.
I've seen those! Sometimes they uplight the clouds, it's very impressive.
