We have a motion activated sprinkler to deter deer from eating our tomatoes and I'm looking for a timer that will shut off the water flow during the day. The ones I've seen at the store seem to only want to water intermittently, instead of completely off/on. Does anyone know of one?

That one has a max run time of 4 hours on.

Would it be easier to cut power to the sprinkler on a timer?

There are also smart water valves that can be computer controlled, but IDK how deep you want to get into home automation.

Probably, yeah. The motion activation portion of the sprinkler takes two AA batteries, but with sufficient googling it'll be off to the races with my soldering iron lol. Thanks for checking y'all.
