Tucked away at the bottom of this report is

Meanwhile, the Editors Guild is set to form a fact-finding committee to look into the media coverage of the Manipur conflict, especially by the local press. The guild said it has also received complaints from the armed forces over “misreporting” by the local press. The team will visit the northeastern state in the first week of August.

The mild terms 'media coverage of the Manipur conflict, especially by the local press" and '“misreporting” by the local press' have been used for the Indian version of Radio Rwanda in Manipur.

The majority of Indian press & media, both local & national serve as tools of the ruling political party, the BJP, The Indian name for this lapdog press & media is godimedia (godi = lap, and it rhymes with modi). Godimedia spreads disinfo, misinfo, and propaganda for the the BJP. Their lies incite peopple & mobs into violence, inflame an already agitated mob, and provide the fuel to ignite the genocidal fire & keep it burning. In return, they get lucrative ads from the govt and their owners are not investigated by the tax authorities. or shut down by the govt.

Despite all the barbarism, the deaths, the tortures, the lynchings, the gangrapes, the wails of the survivors, the outrage from all India and the world, Manipur's Radio Rwanda has done & continues to do its bit to fan the flames of ethnic & communal cleansing.

Today is the 85th consecutive day of ethnic & communal genocide in Manipur, India. Indians are being lynched, set on fire, raped, gangraped, maimed, killed, left to bleed to death on the streets, by their fellow Indians. There are stories of stray dogs feasting on the dead as they lie uncliamed on the streets.

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi refuses to address Parliament for fear of being questioned, nor has he addressed the nation nor has he taken any steps to end the violence, nor has he appealed for peace.

Such is their moral degradation, both personal and political, that Biren Singh continues to be the Chief Minister of Manipur, Amit Shah continues to be India's Home Minister, and Narendra Modi continues to be India's Prime Minister.
