The German government and establishment are stepping up the repression of pro-Palestine Jews including Israelis, but it's all about anti-Arab/Muslim racism by proxy, says Udi Raz, a Jewish activist who spoke to The New Arab in Berlin.

“Germany is very much engaged in an attempt to self-define itself through the exclusion of other minorities. In the 30s and 40s, it was the Jews, and now it is Muslims,” explained Raz, adding that Germany is eager to protect Jews but only to the extent that those Jews are also “willing to produce anti-Muslim racism.”

Calling the last seven months a culmination of a decades-long oppression of Palestinians in Germany, Raz believes that this marginalisation of Palestinians also targets the entire Muslim population living in the country. [...]

Is there even a name for this type of irony?

This unfortunately isn't irony. It is a country that is descendant of genocidal mass murderers never having addressed its fascist culture, people and politics and now on the path to fully embrace them again.

The Zionists understood to use that to their advantage, as they have always allied with antisemitic movements by allowing Germany and out. Simply defend Zionism to the bones and be abolished from your fascist past, present and future. Every German state has an "anti-antisemitism" commissioner and they are fiercely Zionist. At the same time, they attack non Zionist Jews with antisemitic hate speech, shaming, de-platforming and now also beating and arresting them. Also those supposed "anti-antisemitism" commissioners defend antisemitism from Germany's far right and fascist groups.

Is it a type of irony, a type of consistency, or both?
