This is all very speculative and a lot of it rests on the assumption that classic selection pressures apply to humans. However, unlike other animals, we use technology to get around natural selection.

Also, the title seems to imply the orange skin is a foregone conclusion, whereas the article is basically, “Skin might be lighter, or darker, or maybe orange?”
