I have a **youtube music subscription **and have not figured out how or if I can download music/playlists from it. Note this is different than just downloading music from YouTube. Just wondered if anyone know a way to download to PC or MAC? Thanks

Yt-dlp, just go to the page with your song or playlist and past that into yt-dlp on PC.

Install NewPipe, find the music you want to download in YouTube Music, hit share, share with NewPipe, profit

Here's a short list I made some time ago: https://codeberg.org/quazar-omega/awesome-yt-dlp

For desktop I suggest Parabolic, now it's on Windows too!
Don't know about Mac OS though, if you find one, do send a PR, I'd be happy to add it to the list :)

All links are publicly accessible, but it will limit you to 128kbps. I'm not aware of any way to rip the 320kbps streams, as the files seem to he protected.
