As the title states. I don't want him to get into the fortress so I have to painstakingly lock the doors to keep him from entering. I don't care if he's locked up in the fortress I just don't him around my dwarves.

Maybe dig a room with a door, make a burrow there with only the crazy guy assigned, tell him to go there and the lock the door? Never tried this though.

I have about 20 goblins in cages with no idea what to do with them. I’ve been stacking them in a room like a goblin zoo.

At least with the goblins you can let your archers do target practice

I haven’t figured out how to do that yet. 🙈 for now I’m just stacking them.

You can build a room with carved fortifications in the outside walls and a bridge entrance. Construct the cages inside the room and connect them to a lever outside the room. Get everybody out and close the bridge, then pull the lever. The goblins now roam inside the room and someone will probably already come and shoot them. If not, you can station you archers in front of the fortifications.

Once they are dead you can open the gate, collect drops etc and start over

I found it easiest to build a drowning chamber.

Build a room you can easily flood and drain. Place the cages in that room. Connect each cage to a lever outside the room. Lock the door so no dwarves get in, flood it, pull the lever to release the goblins, drain the room when they're all dead.

You can go to the population screen and cast him out. Then you can assign him to an chain

I've been doing some thinking. Can this be salvaged? Can the dwarf be cured?
