Does anyone know what’s going on with Tailscale on Android TV devices? The official site says it’s available on the Google Play Store, but it is not. I’ve read people have successfully installed it by sideloading it. I’m just not sure how safe that is. Any help would be appreciated!

Sideloading is safe, as long as the source of the APK is trustworthy.

Okay, do you recommend a certain app from the Google Play Store for sideloading? I’m only aware of the Downloader app by AFTVnews.com, and also F-Droid.

You can get the Tailscale apk from F-droid: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.tailscale.ipn/
