We used to have a large amount of frogs here behind our house. Frogs not toads. But if i can find one or two now its a lot. Fucking shame.
Collapse

This is the place for discussing the potential collapse of modern civilization and the environment.
Collapse, in this context, refers to the significant loss of an established level or complexity towards a much simpler state. It can occur differently within many areas, orderly or chaotically, and be willing or unwilling. It does not necessarily imply human extinction or a singular, global event. Although, the longer the duration, the more it resembles a ‘decline’ instead of collapse.

Whaaat, a country with rampant "outdoor cat" pet culture and very few predators doesn't have songbirds? Who could have foreseen this.
Adopted my cat in Canada, signed a "legally binding" contract saying they'd be indoor only. Moved to the UK...suddenly cruel to keep them indoors. Also he's scared af of squirrels. They appear at the window sometimes and he's not about that shit....
