Man its unreal how things have gotten so bad that a children's show staff have to unionize.

On a side note does anyone know if any industries were unionized from the start or did all of them start because of shit work conditions?

Why would children's writers be treated differently? If it was some utopia of workers rights, most righters would migrate there over time.

Everyone should unionise. Even in companies ornjobs that are currently fine. Its how they stay that way and supports other workers in the same union. Better standards benefit everyone.

From what I understand, writers usually work under the Writer's Guild. This report says 12.1% for the motion and sound recording industry as a whole.

Hmm. What about the other workers?

The sad part about this is there are like 50 years of back content so the boss has a lot less at stake than the workers.
