Looking forward to the rest of the season too! Think I'm gonna have to go back and re watch the earlier episodes to get back into the storyline again.

What a great episode! I love the indirect [and unknowing!] display of power that Rimuru does through Diablo. And the options that Diablo offered to the kingdom are smart - it gives them a false belief that they have choices.

And Shion being cute and all proud of her job. Damn that cooking skill :3

Believe it or not, I've never watched an episode of this before.

Seems pretty similar to Overlord at this point: Powerful but clueless MC in a "monsters take over fantasy kingdoms" except Rimuru isn't quite as bloodthirsty as Ainz Ooal Gown.

Basically, except earlier seasons of slime tended to focus on how they would build a functioning nation, and from what I saw of overlord it was much more power fantasy. The end of last season of slime lost that vibe, I'm hoping it comes back.
