Been a Twitter user for more than 10 years, then Musk bought it and it became unbearable.
Been using Mastodon for a year now and this is how it feels.
Yeah because Twitter wasn't already a streaming pile of shit before musk. Lol right
Didn't Say it was cool, but it was still usable.
My corner of Twitter has always been non-toxic and supportive, and the only effect Musk had on it is the limiting of read tweets.
It's the same as Reddit, Facebook or anything else; the people in each community decide how toxic they're going to be. People just love to kick the pseudo-tribalism with brands and platforms these days 🙄
