@_Rho_ The article is a puff-piece intended to promote the movie, not anyone's actual hot take. The actors might have stopped participating in promotion due to the strike but the publicists on the studio payroll will keep finding ways of shilling.

She's been in big projects, yes, but never this big as a central role.
She just hasn't been in anything this high profile before and she stands out in it too. No need to overthink it.
Everyone's been in Marvel content at some point and it's not really acting, nobody's really known for that except a few of the main ones.

I feel like this is giving her acting in two full seasons of TV with Agent Carter too little credit.
That said, I’m happy she’s getting the credit she deserves. She’s awesome.

edit: I totally forgot when posting this that I actually saw Hayley Atwell as Rebecca West in Rosmersholm. 😂
She was literally the costar in the first Captain America film. From that she got her own show and then became a key character in the MCU.
