I don't know why so many people fuck around with power supply and risk breaking every single component as well as a house fire

I mean really, as long that everything is wired correctly, I don't see much danger here. Other than the danger of looking like a mad man for massacring your case of course. Lol

Big if.

I grew up redneck/hillbilly and did lots of stuff that would fit this sub.

But almost nobody fucked with electrical.

but there's no fucking with electrical here? it's just chopping a corner out of the case. there's no reason to believe the psu connectors aren't intact and used as intended.

edit: now i see the psu case is open and taped together. uh oh.

[–] IGuessThisIsForNSFW@yiffit.net 5 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Is the psu case open? Looks to me like the thing on the far side sticking up is the metal from the top of the PC case that's been bent up to make space for the psu.

That's what it looks like to me too. The case has been bent up, and the PSU has been taped to it. The PSU doesn't seem to have been tampered with at all.

you're both right. i didn't look closely enough both times.

You must a-twerk? Wait, that's not how it goes...
