Saint Mars kinda looks like the Basilisk from Impel down chapter 528... which was supposed to be a crossing of a snake with a chicken.

Crazy theory: Each of the 5 elders is associated with one level of Impel down, they are called Hells, while the 5 elders are demons. The hidden level 6, unknown to the general public and for the worst criminals ... is associated with Imu.
