If we all used ISO 8601 then we could all enjoy things together. Nothing fun about 2024-03-15 that I can tell.
Oh! That's why pie posts are everywhere! I saw them and assumed it was just the latest random Lemmy trend.
Besides, we all know tau is the far more useful constant.
Lying in bed last night, just about to drop off the sleep and made the silly decision to check Facebook. Saw a very recent post from someone about 10 minutes away who'd found a beagle wandering on the side of the highway. Threw on some grundies and headed off to collect cause I couldn't sleep knowing a beagle needed assistance. 10 minutes to the pickup, 30 to the nearest emergency vet to check for microchip, noone answered the phone when they tried to get in contact with the owner (cause of course no one does, bane of my life this current trend), left the dog there and another 20 minutes home. Feeling the lack of sleep, but on the plus side the owner collected the beagle and it made it home safe so there's a happy ending that doesnt involve a massage.
