Let's see how conservatives try to defend our spending in Israel. In what way does that money help U.S. citizens in any way? Our relationships with oil-producing countries do not benefit at all from this expense. So... Why spend this money? Go ahead, conservatives. Try to justify your religious cos-play.

Let’s see how conservatives try to defend our spending in Israel.

Something like "We need to help Israel so that the apocalypse will happen and all Christians will go to heaven while everyone else is cast into the lake of fire."

This is the answer. They selfishly support Israel because they think that’s what their resurrected wizard wanted. Morality and basic human decency be damned.

Conservatives don't need to try to justify it. They want Palestine to burn and all of its inhabitants killed. If that means doing nothing while Israel happily gives the US more money in exchange for American made bombs and guns to continue their genocide, all the better for them.

There's even some weird conservative conspiracy theory that is trying to make Ukraine out to be a secret Muslim plot to replace Christianity in Eastern Europe, with Russia just doing their duty as a good Christian nation trying to prevent that from happening.

Logic doesn't need to reach these people. They don't understand logic, so they have nothing to justify. They're just right and everyone else is wrong and if you stand in their way they'll resort to violence to get what they want.

This spending has never been a concern for conservatives. Not even the fact that those dollars pay for abortions in Israel.

Why aren't you asking Biden? He's the one pushing for this.

[–] Burn_The_Right@lemmy.world 14 points 8 months ago

Support of Israel is a conservative thing. Biden is a neoliberal. Neoliberals are conservative.

"What aid truck? Israel? Shoot it? No clearly not. You have video evidence? We'll open an investigation and follow up in 5 years. By the way you are anti-Semitic and we will have the FBI open an investigation on you."

America denying war-crimes like they're the CCP. And Americans defending Genocide like CCP drones. Everyone has put their chum-buckets on.
