I'm getting this too, but I've not tested it enough across different instances/communities.
I'm trying to respond to something on a different instance. I did respond to one comment, and then the next I went to throws this error (so I tried on 2 other browsers and Connect with no lick). Dunno if it's a rate limit or something, as I've cleared caches, cookies, logged in/out, triple checked language settings, etc.
Edit: yay at least this comment worked!
I can't comment in the app either, even on the same instance.
This is still a prevalent error and mayor issue imho.
Edit: even worse, when I’m trying to post a comment that gets blocked by this error, the only real option in the UI is to delete the post unless I want to endlessly retry.
However, sometimes when I choose delete, I’ll later visit the thread and it says “Deleted by user” with my username. Well dough I was never able to complete the submission of my post in the first place!
This is a critical interaction bug.
