Why is it that the Christian right wing groups always ruin everything? Not trying to bash on any Christian’s here but I wish we could just agree that making the only world we have uninhabitable for ourselves is a bad thing.

Isn't it Christian tradition to get expelled from cozy and nice places?

I've actually seen a right-wing Christian pundit arguing, "why worry about climate change, when heaven is real?"

They're super unconcerned about killing us all.

Doesn’t seem like all is lost, since the bill will have to be renegotiated in certain details. However, as an outsider I find it really hard to judge if the bill is really “poorly drafted”. “Protecting farmers” usually sounds like a cop out for watering down stronger rules on land use to me. The farmers will be fine, our planet won’t.

The EPP are the same group who voted against migrant rescue at sea as rescue attempts would create a “pull factor”. But this has been debunked by research.

Ireland’s Fine Gael party are EPP members and it’s a sad situation to see.
