My weed man has a huge patch of these growing in his yard. Every time I pick up a bag I scoop a handful to munch while he weighs my shit.
What are they called?
We call them wild strawberries, swedish call them smultron
Smultron sounds like a knock-off Transformers villain.
And we in Finland call them metsämansikka which just means forest strawberries.
Get them before the bugs do. They're yours! 🐞
Wait these are mock strawberries arent they? They're edible but dont really taste like anything
They taste nice!
We had something similar in Washington state, wild strawberries. They tasted amazing but were not easy to find.
In California there's a native wood strawberry that looks a lot like this. They're also amazing but so tiny
I think these are exactly the same.
They taste much more than normal strawberries actually.
