Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew.

Lovely big golden chips with a nice piece of fried fish.

Man, potatoes have been a conundrum for me. I once randomly stuck some sweet potato ends in the ground, and ended up having a massive harvest. Every time I've tried to repeat that success, nada.

It's a funny old game like that. Plants do as they please, regardless of our best intentions!

To be honest I'm surprised I got these. Foxes and/or cats have been using the potato sacks as beds and crushed the lot!

I’ll trade you, five of the big ones for about 88 million cherry tomatoes.

Like that is it? lol

Last year I ended up with 10kg of beefsteak tomatoes! Still using the sauces I made now :)

The worst part is that the unwanted, unplanted cherry tomato plant is outperforming the beefsteaks that I actually planted. Are we SURE we’ve actually domesticated these things?

Beefsteaks are awesome; I’ve finally figured out the deliciousness of a simple tomato sandwich, just tomato, good bread, mayo and salt and pepper. Beautiful.

Mmmm, tomato and mayo, that's my kind of sandwich!

I was actually hoping for some of last years yellow cherries to pop up, but no such luck.

Oh wow. I'm still weeks away up here in BC

Southern UK here. It's been a strange summer this year, so far. Things seem to be growing either fast or slow compared to last year.
