Brb, just going to go and cry in my snail infested garden…

You have my deepest condolences. I'm into my second bad year of a bad snail problem but I've gotten ruthless this year.

I have a spray bottle with a 75/25 water/vinegar mix and I probably go out to spray regularly and it's done wonders. I also have snail traps set up but I don't find as effective.

Yeah, I should probably get on it, they are sneaky though! Peas have been rubbish this year too, the plants are all so small. I should have done more sequential planting I guess.

Yum! So great to have fresh greens on hand like this. I found my homegrown lettuce tasted good enough to eat just on its own without making a salad or anything.

I had similar photo rotation problems early on. Basically all the photos on your phone are vertical, but some have a data tag that says “this should be rotated to landscape for display.” And not all tools in the world respect that tag consistently. They should. But a few things with Lemmy are new and still coming together. Did you post it from the desktop web interface for lemmy.world or an app of some kind?

Cheers

Oh thanks for the info.

I did this all my phone (samsung)

Just saw another member get bitten by this too:

I might have it reversed actually because it looks like that and your photo were taken vertically but are showing up horizontally. I’m not sure you can do anything about it. The developers will need to fix it. But you might have better luck just orienting your phone the other way. Worth a try for your next post!

Ah man I've never had lettuce this thick before. It always jumps up in temp and they bolt before they can get to this state. Maybe I'll try again towards the fall.
