Random music recommendation. Found this artist, ACER SPADES, in my Spotify discovery playlist. They are an EDM duo from Brisbane.

If you are an electronic music fan, I suggest giving them a listen. I particularly like the songs Needed Me and 4 UR LUV.

I watched this the other night. If you feel too happy and optimistic about things, it's not a bad way to bring yourself back down.

My main takeaway was less about the bullying itself (which was bad enough), but more the actions of the adults in response. Victim blaming to the maximum. Forcing bullied and bully to shake hands, then accusing the bullied of being "as bad as them" (the bully) because they rightfully didn't want to shake hands and say it's all resolved. Blaming the kid for not reporting bullying instead of handling the bullies. Moving bullied kids to another bus instead of moving the bullies off the bus.

It's a bit dated being from 2011 so maybe things have changed. The attitudes in the documentary were definitely in line with what we took away from our US trip - Americans (generalising) are SUPER selfish, and seeing the world from someone elses POV is unheard of. When someone is being bullied, the attitude seems to be that they must be doing something wrong to be getting bullied because it doesn't happen to me.

I'd love to see a "where are they now?" for the kids in this.

The actions of the adults here speaks volumes. Them not having a clue as to how to deal with a situation like this, like what the heck is shaking hands going to accomplish?
