It's 6 stories with a huge amount of room near Rayne tower. I've got another small one for ores and coal, but this is where the work gets done.

Have you had issues with Pals starving themselves or getting clipped into things? If not how high is each storey and how do you have the stairs set up.

The floors are three high, which is acceptable for even the biggest Pals. The stairs started at one wide, with one at the edge of the next floor, and I had to change to two wide stairs with at least two at the landing. Nothing has gotten stuck since I made that change, though sometimes the spin around after going up a floor for a while before they figure out where they're going.

Awesome, I'll give that a try - pals are extremely prone to getting stuck.

Mine can't figure out how to not fall into water, and don't get me started on doors/stairs.

Agree about doors (the only ones are on the first floor, and they're kept shut except when I go through them), the edges of this go clear to the edge and they haven't fallen into the water yet.

Wow that’s incredible.

Curious about pals finding everything too

I put a feeding station on each floor I want the Pals to do things, that seems to keep them finding things. The interesting bug is that since two ranches are on the second floor, while I'm logged out, the stuff in the ranch has a tendency to fall through to the first floor.

Lmao it falls through? That’s new

I have a similar base minus the walls, I also experience this when I warp over sometimes.

One time I warped in and I observed my whole base loading in. As it happened, my breeding-floor pals fell and disappeared into the earth once the foundation loaded. Quick resummon, but I frick'n cackled at 2am

My wife stood and watched the second floor for a while and said it reminded her of the concourse scenes in the Men In Black movies.

Very cool :) I love how clean and spacious it is. Thanks for sharing~

Very nice! Love seeing other people’s huge bases.

Singleplayer world?

[–] tover153@lemmynsfw.com 2 points 9 months ago

No my own local server. My wife and middle daughter play on it. I have raids turned off until the two of them get their footing. When that happens I will seal the bottom floor.
