Well yeah, do you know how long it takes for me to write something even remotely readable? Mfs will misinterpret anything and everything you say, so you gotta be precise without saying so much as to make your comment unreadable
You also have the time to look up your sources when crafting a comment or reply online. You whip out your phone in an irl situation, either people gloss over or the conversation keeps going.
Oh I whip out my phone all the time, constantly. I've had to learn to actively resist that urge when someone asks an easily googleable question. When I'm in an argument, though, you best believe I'll pull up every study showing that trans athletes don't actually have an advantage over their competitors, or that immigrants actually commit less crime, or that the current economic disparity is actually worse than it was in France when they started doing praxis way back when
What a fucking curse. The worst part of it is that it's not like other mental conditions, we're 100% aware of how badly we're fucking up.
