I am not super-familiar with Eurovision's policies, but isn't it, you know, Europe-only?

It's organized by the European Broadcasting Union which includes a lot of countries in Northern Africa, some countries in the Caucasus region and some of the countries inbetween.

Australia also joined Eurovision though despite not being a member of the EBU...

Australia is basically there for fun. They aren't allowed to be hosts if they win for example.

You'd be surprised but Australia is in it too.. No No. I did not type Austria wrong.. It really is the down under Australia...

They let in Australia as well. It's basically "if your population is white enough and not in the Americas, you can join."

Yes, Eurorovision is only for whites – it has nothing to do with being part of the European broadcast union.

Or maybe...all countries in Europe has a majority white population and Eurovision is mainly european.

Btw: Marocco has participated in the ESC as well, but decided against joining again. Also Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya and Tunisia are allowed to join, but they also decide every year against it. But I guess these are countries with a 'white enough' population, too?

If Eurovision is popular enough.
