What programs do you use for making hexmaps? I want to make a map for my players but my art skills are very lacking

Thanks! That looks great. Is there an ios version of it?

Worldographer or Wonderdraft, depending on the style of map i want. Worldographer can add key numbers to the hex grid, but not Wonderdraft.

Do you know if they go on sale sometimes? 40€ is a lot

Woldographer is on Bundle of Holding right now for a couple of days at a special price for 3 Pro licence keys!

Oof. Hex is tricky.

Dungeondraft is, IMO, phenomenal for mapmaking (and has a huge community of asset creators), but it is designed more for square grids than hex.

It'll still work because you can turn off the grid and then layer over your own, but all the snapping and stuff is built around rectilinear alignment.

I don’t make hexmaps, but I’m quite fond of Dungeonscrawl. IIRC, it supports hex-backgrounds as well as hexagonal rooms. It’s pretty straightforward and easy to use, ymmv for hexmaps tho
