My reddit was basically Ausfinance and ahem. Be nice if this place becomes Ausfinance pre-2020 style.

Agree with this. The old sub seemed to have a massive influx of users from /r/Australia which decreased the overall quality of discussion i feel.

I for one welcome some ASX_Bets degenerate gambling. Speccy lithium stocks and sportsbet is a legitimate investment strategy.

Lock downs brought a lot of new members, but I think the catalyst was the GME saga. Don't quote me, but I feel like it was that period that saw exponential increase in users and a subsequent shift in quality.

what was the old direction? i think i joined reddit prior to 2020 but only discovered the sub much later
