Lithium-ion batteries power our smartphones, laptops and electric transportation. They’re also a safety risk we need to take seriously.

steering clear of products that are too cheap and taking it seriously when your batteries look damaged or you ram your e-scooter into a tree.

Lots of people buy cheap cell phone battery packs. E-bike batteries have an order of magnitude more lithium and energy stored.
