Crazy how much busier it’s gotten since I made an account this morning and since I went to work lol. Great to see it, I hope this is the first step to the internet returning to its former state

I am never going to bow down to reddit filth. The Dragon of Dojima never surrenders to assholes making 3rd party devs lives miserable. I am just looking for RiF alternative. Apollo seems to have gotten a good one by wefwef but I sed RiF for years as my main app
I'm using Connect at the moment has been fine. Looking forward to the new version of Sync. But the only sub I miss is buildapcsales but only a matter of time.
I have liftoff and jerboa installed. Right now I m enjoying the first the most.
I m realy enjoying lemmy as well. I feel this could be better than reddit (even after 12 years there).
Don t know if it happen to anyone esse, but I tryed using RIF today and still menaged to get posts, Don t know why, I thought it would be completly dead.
I'm using liftoff at the moment, pretty good so far. I still get compulsions to type reddit after my Google searches though to look up answers on questions I have...need to break that years-long habit
I've been using Jerboa since mid June, but I'm on Android. It was a bit slow at first and I did have those gnawing desires to go back to reddit, but I haven't done so. You really notice the time waste on that site when you aren't actively going to it anymore.
I logged into the reddit website today (with adblock of course) and unsubscribed all subreddits, with the exception of some niche stuff that I have to find an alternative for. Currently exploring Mastodon and now Lemmy, looks good so far. I don't miss reddit at all.
I had to go there yesterday to find a motor stream. Felt filthy and left as soon as I could.
I'm having a pretty good time here but I don't really like the desktop interface, I had to write some custom CSS to improve it :p
I do like wefwef, obviously for the UI but I’m using memmy on a daily basis.
Mostly for one reason, being able to save posts, which is something I do a lot. Now I just need to be able to categorize the saved post like on Apollo pro and that will be perfect.
Yeah, its the very same for me...
I'm on Android and the app if found that I like the most so far is Connect. For context, I was a sync for Reddit user and I'm already pre-registered for sync for Lemmy and Connect has UI quite similar to what I'm used to
I'm on iOS and i found that making a bookmark for the website on my homescreen works pretty much just the same as a native app. Love it.
I finally realized that 90% of the subreddits I flipped through for hours on end were an absolute waste of time. Good riddance, Reddit.
