I have recently claimed the community !chess@lemmy.ml. When I browse the original instance, my username is in the mod list. But browsing from sopuli, the mod list is empty, and I don't have access to any mod tools.

The data that you are a mod has failed to federate over to sopuli.

Basically, lemmy.ml knows you are a mod, sopuli.xyz, doesn't.

This is all the same federation bottleneck that the big instances are experiencing.

You need to either wait, assuming lemmy.ml is still trying to federate this change, or be unmodded and remodded to get it to try again to federate.

I thought moderation was totally local. I didn’t even know you could add remote users.
