Mine is set to my launcher. So it goes to my home screen when I press it. I really wish Samsung would just drop the stupid Bixby button.

They did, it's not on my S21

Well, I'm not a Samsung user but looking at photos of s23 and a54 there's no dedicated buttons, there only power and volume buttons

Triggers a new conversation with the self-hosted LLM voice assistant through home assistant. Just working on giving it the ability to control everything in the house now, and the ability to edit shopping/todo lists, but i can have a fairly fliud voice to voice conversation with it while Im riding my motorbike to work.

Not a custom ROM user, but I assigned mine to activate the camera.

Me too, I remember I used an app called bxActions to set to activate between vibrate and sound mode on my old Samsung phone

I use bxactions to control play/pause (single tap), flashlight (hold when screen is locked) and auto rotation (hold when screen is on). No custom ROMs or root needed, just a quick abd command that comes with the app and disables bixby.

You don't need a custom ROM… That's like lobotomizing someone because their laugh is annoying.

Search for the "side button" or "side key" to change the options.

That said, the screenshot command is what I remapped it to. This is so I can screenshot on the fly without having to do gang signs on my phone.
