Is this a thing that's possible?

Asking for an imperialist friend who want to hop over to beehaw from lemmy.ml until friend has grasped nginx and figured out friends own instance on their rpi.

I think not. Just create a new account on that server, maybe link to it in the profile of your old account

Alrighty then, maybe my friend just needs to get over the nginx ddns SSL cert hump faster rather than having multiple accounts.
