A Game Jam was just announced where the goal is to test the technology you want to use for bigger blind accessible projects.

Jam is here: https://itch.io/jam/bare-1

This is a mini version of this game jam: https://itch.io/jam/games-for-blind-gamers-2

If you’re not a developer but want to help, make sure to stop by and rate the games and give feedback to the devs who make entries.

Most of the devs in this specific community (myself included) are sighted, and while we encourage each other to read documentation and try out famous examples of accessibility done right, we still trip up. Either missing a point in accessibility or making it not fun to use.

So as a result we really appreciate feedback from folks who actually depend on the accessibility features, instead of us who just test it.

If you have any questions/suggestions on how the jams operate, please let me know! I'm an admin in the discord so happy to pass along any feedback.
