Going to dad's for his birthday to have a bbq, then probably gonna pass out till Monday morning under the blankets 😎

Nice day for a bbq! I’m liking the pass out till Monday plan too. Solid weekend :)

@Pretzelise a winter BBQ sounds great!

Gaming with friends tomorrow. Today, probably attempt some cleaning but otherwise just lounge.

Sounds like a great plan to me. Have an awesome weekend :)

Plan for me is to spend the day working on making my game, but most likely will procrastinate and chill, it's been a long week

[–] kerr@aussie.zone 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It’s been a long week here too, so procrastinating sounds about right. What’s the game you’re working on? Something physical like a board/card game? Or computer?

[–] CordanWraith@aussie.zone 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's a computer game, just something I've been working on during my off time over hte last year or so. Slow progress but it's fun

[–] kerr@aussie.zone 2 points 1 year ago

Nice! I hope you get some time to work on it then. Sending accomplishment vibes ~~

Bit of a clean up and maybe out for dinner. I’ve spent the last couple of weekends either sick or away so the clean up is a little overdue. Housework is so much more pleasurable in winter.

Oh wait you said interesting…

I was reading a bit about mindfulness yesterday and one of the tips was to do chores as mindfulness exercises. So like when you’re washing the dishes, take time to examine each dish carefully and listen to the sound of them in the sink, feel the warm water etc. so yeah sometimes washing dishes can be pretty boring and other times they’re the 5 minutes of the day that help you get through it. So yay for feeling better and enjoy the clean up!

I did have a bit of that in pulling the weeds. Then I got distracted and thanks to you, I remembered the dishes! Thanks 🙂

Very boring -- gym, xbox, eating boxes of shapes watching the NRL in between the above.

[–] kerr@aussie.zone 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That’s not boring at all. I wonder whether there’d be more contention over which NRL team you support or which Shapes flavour you prefer ;)

@kerr shampooing the carpets and might actually go for a walk this arvo in this lovely winter sunshine. I know it's not exciting but since I haven't able to go for long walks for nearly two years until recent medical treatment, it's pretty wonderful to me :)

[–] kerr@aussie.zone 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That sounds amazing! I hope the walk goes well for you. :)

What are you up to this weekend kerr?

[–] kerr@aussie.zone 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Making sure everyone else’s weekend is just a little bit better. Also procrastinating. ;) might have Indian for dinner.

Of def takeaway. I’m not a good enough cook to tackle that in-house. Plus the local fancy Indian does a gluten free roti/naan which is usually something I have to miss out on.
